Top 5 questions to ask a stand builder
At Ambien®360 we have supported clients across UK and Europe’s major venues, designing and setting up exhibition stands that engage conversations and increase footfall.
What is the design process for my exhibition stand?
Our team start by understanding your brand, objectives, and the exhibition event itself. We determine what your main goal is, whether it is a product launch, networking focus, or lead generation you are aiming for. The next step of the process involves our in-house design team creating a bespoke stand concept that considers space, flow, brand messaging, and engagement features. We then present you with 3D renders allowing you to fully visualise the stand before anything goes into production. Once approved, we move to pre-build, AV planning, logistics, and final delivery — all managed in-house for full quality control.
do I need to have a brief?
A rough brief is helpful, but it doesn’t need to be polished. We regularly work with clients who only have a few key details like stand size, event name, and a general idea of what they want to achieve. From there, we’ll ask the right questions to build a comprehensive plan with you. If you already have brand guidelines, must-haves, or content for screens, we’ll incorporate those seamlessly. How do you incorporate technology and LED into the exhibition stands? Is technology important?
Technology, especially LED screens and digital touch screens are vital in today’s exhibition environment. It’s what helps your brand stand out, engage, and communicate complex ideas quickly. We have extensive experience designing stands with integrated LED walls, promotional videos, touchscreen demos, and live content displays. Whether it’s a large LED feature wall or a compact screen within a product display, we’ll recommend the right solution based on your goals and budget.
What areas do you project manage?
Ambien®360 offers a fully managed service. That includes budget planning, liaising with organisers and venues to book power, rigging, internet, cleaning, and handling all operational paperwork. Our team has years of experience working with venues like ExCeL, NEC, and Olympia, so we know how to navigate their specific requirements.
Do you take care of Health & Safety documents?
Absolutely. We prepare and submit all required Health & Safety documentation, including Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), build plans, and insurance certificates. Our team also ensures that every element of the stand meets current regulations and venue guidelines. You won’t need to worry about compliance, we take care of it as part of our service.
